National Football League season is underway, and these are my official predictions for the final records of each NFL team that I think will make the playoffs.
14.Cleveland Browns: 8-9. I think the Browns will slip into the playoffs with an 8-9 record. Their schedule is quite hard, playing strong teams like the Cowboys, Eagles, Bengals (twice), Ravens (twice), Falcons and Dolphins. These are all teams I predict will make the playoffs.
13.Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 9-8. The Buccaneers have the same team dynamic as last year and then, over the offseason, they didn’t do enough to jump the Falcons and the Saints (who also didn’t have an active offseason). Therefore, I think they will make the wildcard round.
12.Green Bay Packers: 10-7. The Packers have been always mediocre to good in recent years. With quarterback Jordan Love having a particularly good season last year, and having Josh Jacobs as a running back, they will have a great run game and quarterback.
11.Miami Dolphins: 10-7. The Miami Dolphins and their explosive offense have the best wide receiver in the NFL. Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle and Odell Beckham, Jr., are amazing wide receivers, along with a good quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa and running back Raheem Mostert. However, I am worried about the defense after losing Christian Wilkins.
10. Philadelphia Eagles: 11-6. The Eagles crumbled last season, at the end and in the playoffs, but I think with the addition of Saquon Barkley and C.J Gardner Johnson, they have taken the steps to keep it from happening again.
9. Atlanta Falcons: 11-6. The Falcons have had a very good offseason with the signing of quarterback Kirk Cousins, outside linebacker Matthew Judon, cornerback Justin Simmons and wide receiver Darnell Mooney. This team is a sleeper team with a lot of young talent in halfback Bijan Robinson and wide receiver Drake London. If Cousins is in full health, then they might be competing for an NFC title.
8. Houston Texans: 11-6. The Houston Texans experienced the fastest rebuilding phase ever. The trade for Stephon Diggs, plus C.J Stroud entering his second season, creates an opportunity for the Texans to be a Super Bowl contender
7. Cincinnati Bengals: 12-5. The Bengals have been at the border of being good, but if Joe Burrow can stay healthy and utilize Jamaar Chase downfield, this team is going to be brutally strong.
6. Detroit Lions: 12-5. The Detroit Lions, being the biggest surprise team last year, beat the Kansas City Chiefs in the opening game last year, and would have made it to the Super Bowl if they kicked those field goals against the 49ers in last year’s NFC Championship to take the lead. This team looks very promising with the talent of QB Jared Goff and HB Jahmyr Gibbs and of course WR Amon-Ra Saint Brown and HB David Montgomery.
5. Buffalo Bills: 12-5 The Buffalo Bills team last year was very good, but the major issue the team has is that it is essentially just Josh Allen after the Stephon Diggs trade. However, I think they can make the playoffs because of how high-caliber of a quarterback Allen is, so if his receivers can catch the ball, they will do well.
4. San Francisco 49ers: 12-5. The 49ers have been one of the biggest threats since 2019. Even Madden 25 agrees with having two of the highest rated players in the game with 99 club members with Trent Williams on offensive tackle and Christian McCaffrey at running back. I think this team will be a very good team with the coaching of Kyle Shanahan and talent of the offense and defense.
3. Baltimore Ravens: 13-4. Where to begin? They have HB Derrick Henry and QB Lamar Jackson in the backfield to form an incredible duo for the run option. Having the option as well to throw to Zay Flowers or hand the ball off to Henry is the reason this is going to be an incredible team.
2. Dallas Cowboys: 13-4. The Cowboys are one of the most historical teams in the NFL and they play in one of the hardest stadiums to play in as a visitor. They have Dak Prescot as quarterback, and WR CeeDee Lamb, having Ezekial Elliot at running back. With one of the best defensive units in the league, this team will be a threat, and I think they will win the NFC.
1. Kansas City Chiefs: 14-3. The Kansas Chiefs are looking for their third Super Bowl in a row. Their offense is elite, with the likes of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, tight end Travis Kelce, wide receivers Rashee Rice, Xaiver Worthy and Hollywood Brow, not to mention how the defense is scary good, with defensive tackle Chris Jones and safety Justin Reid. Being one of the most clutch offenses and defenses in the whole league, they are the team to beat this year as they look to take home the Lombardi Trophy for the third year in a row.
